Privacy notice
What we collect, why we collect it, who else sees it, and what you can ask us to do about it.
Fill these in before publishing
Three things only you can supply: [LEGAL ENTITY NAME], [REGISTERED ADDRESS] and [COUNTRY OF ESTABLISHMENT]. Search this page for the square brackets. Everything else is written from what the site actually does.
This notice explains what we collect when you use adsticket.com, why we collect it, who else sees it, and what you can ask us to do about it. It is written to be read, not to be survived.
Who we are
[LEGAL ENTITY NAME], trading as AdsTicket, of [REGISTERED ADDRESS], is the data controller for this website. For anything in this notice, email hello@adsticket.com.
What we collect
When you submit the application form
The form asks for your name, email address, website, which ticket you are interested in, your monthly spend band, and a message. Your name and a valid email address are required; everything else is optional.
Alongside what you type, our server records the following automatically:
- IP address, from the connection making the request
- Country, derived from that IP address by our hosting provider
- Browser user agent string
- The page you submitted from
- A timestamp
We collect those five because they help us spot automated spam and understand which pages produce enquiries. They are not used to build a profile of you or shown to anyone outside the people handling your enquiry.
When you just read the site
We do not set advertising or tracking cookies, and there is no cookie banner because there is nothing to consent to.
Your browser stores one thing locally: your light or dark theme preference. That never leaves your device and we cannot read it.
The site registers a service worker to cache pages so it loads quickly and works offline. The cache lives on your device.
Our hosting provider processes your IP address to serve the page and to protect against attacks. That is a technical necessity of loading any website.
Fonts
Pages load typefaces from Google Fonts. That means Google receives your IP address when a page loads. If you would rather that did not happen, a browser extension that blocks third-party font loading will prevent it, and the site remains fully usable.
Why we are allowed to hold it
| What | Why | Lawful basis (UK/EU GDPR) |
|---|---|---|
| Form details you type | To answer your enquiry and send you the scope and pricing | Steps taken at your request before entering a contract, Art. 6(1)(b) |
| IP, country, user agent, page, timestamp | Spam prevention and understanding which pages generate enquiries | Legitimate interests, Art. 6(1)(f) |
| Records of work if you become a client | To deliver the service and meet accounting obligations | Contract, Art. 6(1)(b), and legal obligation, Art. 6(1)(c) |
Where we rely on legitimate interests, we have weighed our interest in operating a functioning enquiry form against your privacy. The data is minimal, kept briefly, and never sold or used for advertising.
Who else processes it
We keep the list short deliberately. Each of these is a processor acting on our instructions:
| Provider | What they do | What they receive |
|---|---|---|
| Cloudflare | Hosting, security, and storage of submitted enquiries | Your IP address on every page load, and the full enquiry when you submit the form |
| Resend | Delivers the enquiry to our inbox as an email | The full enquiry |
| Serves fonts; if enabled, receives enquiries into a spreadsheet | Your IP address for fonts; the full enquiry if the spreadsheet integration is active |
Some of these providers operate outside the UK and EEA. Where data is transferred, it is covered by the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, together with the provider's own safeguards.
We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with advertisers.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries that do not become clients: [24 months], then deleted
- Client records: for the duration of the engagement, then [6 years] where retention is needed for accounting and tax
- Email in our inbox: deleted on the same schedule as the enquiry it relates to
Adjust those two figures to match your actual practice and your accountant's advice. Do not leave a number here you do not follow.
Your rights
If you are in the UK or EEA you can ask us to:
- Give you a copy of what we hold about you
- Correct anything inaccurate
- Delete it
- Restrict how we use it, or object to us using it
- Send it to you or another provider in a portable format
Email hello@adsticket.com and we will respond within one month. There is no charge.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled it, you can complain to the supervisory authority in your country. In the UK that is the Information Commissioner's Office; in the EU it is your national data protection authority.
Children
This is a business-to-business service. It is not directed at anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
If we change this notice we will update the date below. Material changes affecting people who have already contacted us will be sent by email.
